The Truman Capote Literary Trust Scholarships in Creative Prose and Poetry are selected by competition open to rising or continuing juniors or seniors majoring in English with the Creative Writing Concentration. Manuscript applications are usually accepted in March each spring semester for the following year.
In Fall, manuscript applications for the Coe, Idol, and West scholarships in creative prose and poetry are open to all English majors, with one scholarship open to students of any major. That deadline is usually in October.
Please watch for future announcements of the upcoming competitions in this newsletter, in email announcements, and for notifications from the ASAP scholarship portal. Please note that applications for these awards are taken independently of general ASAP scholarship applications.
