Ellen J. Perry (M.A. 1999) has been appointed Chair of the English and Communications Department at A-B Tech (Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College). She says that this is her "dream job" and wants to thank all of her professors and mentors at Appalachian State for helping her get to this point. She begins her duties on August 1st, and her new email will be eperry@abtech.edu (828-254-1921, ext. 829). Previously, she was the Co-Director of Advising and Registration at UNC Asheville.
