ENG 2130: Ethnic American Literature- Intersections of Indigenous and Latine Literatures

In this section of ENG 2130, Ethnic American Literature, students will be introduced to a wide range of Indigenous and Latine authors. Students will gain a literary introduction to the study and intersections of Indigenous and Latine literatures as American literatures. We will read poetry, short stories, excerpts from novels, and photo essays. Students will develop a critical understanding of literary works and frames of reference that shape past and present U.S. literary communities.
