Jessie has been invited to be a plenary speaker at the Mediating Mountains conference in Innsbruck, Austria! The Department of American Studies at the University of Innsbruck invited faculty from Appalachian State University to propose a keynote address for “Mediating Mountains,” the 46th International Conference of the Austrian Association of American Studies, which will take place from November 8 to 10, 2019 in Innsbruck. Organized in cooperation with ASU, this conference aims to strengthen the partnership between Appalachian State University and the University of Innsbruck.
