An introduction to contemporary rhetorical theories from a comparative lens. We will explore the concerns of antiracist, feminist, cultural, and materialist rhetorics, and issues of representation recognition, resistance, materiality. We will examine contemporary debates that have distinct political aims and radically high stakes in human rights discourse.
