Please join me in congratulating Rosemary Horowitz, who has been invited to be the keynote speaker at Western Galilee University, in Akko, Israel, next week. Rosemary's address is titled, "Yizker Books: From Text to Hypertext and to Text Again?" Many of us have followed Rosemary's work on the Yizker Books with great interest for some time, and it is quite exciting to see that work having a significant impact on international scholars, just as it has in done in the U.S.
Rosemary is leaving town soon for the conference, but if you happen to see her in the halls before she leaves, do offer her your congratulations.
